Tron Legacy

I can name on one hand the movie sequels that I've enjoyed. Usually they're a simple attempt at squeezing the last bit of money out of a good idea that did well at the box office. I enjoyed Tron when it was first released and while it's disappointing when I watch it now, it was good enough in its time.

The new release, Tron Legacy, looks interesting, if for no other reason than to demonstrate how far CG has come. Then again. maybe it's just because I'm an old PC/Video gamer.

Disney has once again constructed a digital environment out of cutting-edge special effects, only this time, it isn't merely silly; it's as dry and talky as a PBS panel show.
