When things have some automatic feature, the manufacturer seems to always want to attach the term "robot" to it. I suppose some test-market survey showed the word caught the attention of potential buyers.
Anyway, here's the Robot Guitar that tunes itself, even special tunings for different songs. I play guitar, and I'm an old-fashioned purest at heart, but I can see how this could be a time saving feature if you were on stage and didn't want to change guitars for songs requiring special tuning.
