light gray, the lightness is important within the site...the user's would want to use city(speak) much easier!

I'm sorry you 're having difficulty, but the black background is part of the "night time" motif I'm trying to convey. If you look at the picture of the city at night above, and if you can hear the background music, the idea is that people staying up late at night, perhaps because they are unable to sleep, might come here to post their thoughts. And, as everyone knows, what happens, and what people talk about at night, is different from what occurs in broad daylight. And so, my intention is to maintain that night time "feel" even if people post here at other hours of the day.  |
