Do you prefer your time spent online, or offline?
I have a condition called agoraphobia, which prevents me from leaving my house, and so there's not much else to do than go online, or watch some television. So, I prefer my time spent online more than anything else.
However, some people have good social lives, or enjoy traveling around the world, and I'd hazard a guess that they prefer their time offline, as opposed to online.
I suppose it depends on what you're planning to do online, or offline. If you were planning to visit a country you've always wanted to, then I suppose you'd prefer to do that, as opposed to visiting your favorite web site. But, I'm talking in a general sense really, and which, on an average day, would give you more pleasure, sitting at your computer browsing the Net, or doing other things offline.

Relatives used to ask me why I spent so much time online, and I'd answer. "Because there's so much you can do." For me, a day with no obligations, no chores to do, and there are no places that I have to go is a good day, because I can spend it online. I dislike going out and having to sit in traffic, or standing in line while shopping. Almost as soon as I step out the door, it's hurry-up and wait. I dislike having to go to someone's birthday party, or for some holiday. All of it has me thinking of how much I could be accomplishing if I could have stayed home. It's not that I don't like people, or getting out of the house, I just feel as though those activities are keeping me from doing what I'd rather be doing. Relatives who know how I feel, sometimes hand me their laptop with a Wi-Fi connection when I visit, but it's not the same. At home I have all of the information and tools on my own computer to do the things I like to do. And, I hate laptops with that little mouse pad you move around with your finger tip. For me, the online world isn't a place where I avoid he real world, it's simply another world where I have different friends from all over the real world. In the real world, all I have is grass to cut, leaves to rake, neighbors to wave at from a distance, relatives I'd rather avoid, bills to pay, auto repairs, and a cat to clean up after. Yeah, a day online with no real-world obligations is a good day.

Very occasionally I visit my uncle, and he offers me to use his laptop while I'm there. It's not just that I dislike laptops, but it's not the same as being in your own home, and on your own computer with everything setup to your own tastes.

I hate laptops with that little mouse pad you move around with your finger tip. You'll get used to it, its kinda okey well a day without forums is a horrible day due to sadness also inactivity. you will think of what you can be doing instead of righting notes or paying the bills.....
