;D The Quality of Life coalition is dedicated towards converting Houston into a clean, green and economically prosperous city. It proposes to do so by working on certain areas that need immediate attention, on the part of the residents and organizations alike. The areas which were short listed by the Coalition, as those requiring action are: 1. Need for more trees and landscaping the city 2. Reduced usage of billboards & signage 3. Controlling litter, graffiti & abandoned lots. 4. Need for more Parks, Bayous & Recreation The quality of Life coalition is a 501 (c) (6) organization and any organization or group can become involved in this. It is an effort to enhance the lifestyle of the residents of Houston. The coalition works with private citizens, elected officials and organizations towards the fulfillment of the aforementioned by affecting policy changes and passing of ordinances in favour of the same. The organization was started by Dick Weekley of the Weekley Development Company to enhance the quality of life led by the residents of Houston and thereby achieve economic prosperity. It is run by a Steering Committee which consists of members like Ann Lents of The Center for Houston’s Future, Charles E McMahen of Compass Bancshares, Bill Coats of Coats, Rose, Yale, Ryman & Lee, among many others.

I agree with all of it. Especially the part about "Reduced usage of billboards & signage."
