I've always used firefox before but due to the issues I have experienced using firefox, I switched to Google Chrome. Chrome is lightweight and also fast. I recommend chrome for now.

I use both Google Chrome and IE. Really prefer IE but have found Chrome makes a nice change on some sites. Obviously Chrome is gunning for IE ... pushing to be home page etc... but that's all part of a competitive web.

Chrome is certainly the better browser both for its relative speed and it's superior interface. The real problem with IE is it is fundamentally a component part of Windows.

I can't argue that but IE works well in places where chrome gives me a few problems.
Also, old habits die hard and I've used IE 5 years to 1 year for chrome.

I find they've all got problems. IE is infuriatingly slow; Firefox crashes a lot; Chrome often tells me I'm offline when I'm not or that a website I know exists doesn't exist; Safari works better with my iPad than it does with my laptop.
I've heard Opera's quite good but I haven't used it.

I've heard Opera's quite good but I haven't used it. For years I stuck with Netscape, but eventually caved in and now I just use IE. I used to maintain a lot of web sites and got tired of trying have one idea look good on several browsers. I don't find IE slow, except for the various things I have monitoring my computer for viruses and malware. Norton and other things seem to be what slows it down, but not all that much.

I use Opera as my desktop and laptop browser and Maxthon as the browser for my Droid.

I use Safari and Google Chrome on my iMac. Very fast considering my 'bucket-chain' internet connection.

I use Google Chrome and IE, each open in it's own window, at the same time. IE is my browser of choice but Google is determined to take over the world and YouTube shakes a virtual finger at me each time I come in unless I switch to Chrome. I use YT a lot and don't want to be bothered with threats and aggravation.
