This is not an advertisement, paid or otherwise, it's just about something I enjoy very much and I want to share it. If you have the coin to spend, (I don't but I'm going anyway,) and you like this sort of thing, I highly recommend it.
Have you ever been to a Cirque Du Soleil show?
We went to see Varekai last year, (I think it's in Australia now) and it's the kind of experience you never forget. The acrobats are incredible, and the music is divine. I have all their other shows either on video tape or DVD. I have friends who have seen the shows that are in residence in Las Vegas, and they rave about it.
Cirque has something new called Delirium coming to town, and we have tickets. I wish they weren't so damn expensive. Rather than in a traveling circus tent, this takes place on stage in existing arenas. If you click the link below there are some photos and a rehearsal video.
